Jen: Lora's the prettier one. Always getting the guys attention and has all them boyfriends. Were a year apart and shes a woman and well I'm...flat. (looks down at herself self-consciously) Momma and Daddy think I'm pretty, and I am, but I'm not the kind of pretty that makes the guys go crazy over me. I'm the one whose achievements are never talked about at family gatherings, never goes to any dances, hair is always a mess. i guess thats why I'm like I am today. Or at least thats what Lora tells her friends on the phone so they don't think her familys messed up, (imitating her snotty sister) "Jen got knocked up only because Dan was the first guy to call her beautiful." I guess she's right, I mean why else am I sixteen and pregnant?
