Battlestar Galactica
from the episode "Resurrection Ship" written by Michael Rymer, story by Anne Cofell Saunders

Dr. Gaius Baltar: The food is yours, its not a trick. I'm not going to take it away at the last second. You know, I'm just going to talk. I don't expect you to say anything. Back on Caprica before the attack--and someimes I forget: there was a world before the attack. I knew someone, a women, unlike any other woman I've ever known. She was unique, beautiful, clever, intensly sensual; when she wasn't in my bed she was in my thoughts. She was a Cylon and she changed my life in a very real, very fundamental way in that I have never--quite literally--never stopped thinking about her. Because I love her to this very day. I love her and she looks exactly like you. My name is Gaius Baltar, and I'm here to help you.

Credit and many thanks to Ryan for this monologue, it is very much appreciated.
